He was born on the 8th of August 1979 in Klaipėda. In 1986–1993, he attended Klaipėda 2nd Music School. In 1993-1996, he studied at Klaipėda S. Šimkus Conservatoire (the Department of Choral Conducting), in 1997-2001, he studied at Lithuanian Academy of Music, in 2001-2006 – Master’s studies at Klaipėda University’s Faculty of Arts. In 2007, he graduated from aspirant studies at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre where he was awarded the qualification degree of the Licentiate of Art. In 2000, he attended the excellence course organised by the choir “Jauna muzika” led by the Italian conductor R. Alessandrini, conducted at the final concert of the course at Vilnius Town Hall. He took part at the secondment at Felix Mendelsohn Academy of Music and Theatre in Leipzig, Germany (2000).
Since 2003, he was the choirmaster of Klaipėda Concert Hall Choir “Aukuras”; since 2005, the conductor of Klaipėda Concert Hall Chamber Choir; since 2007, the organist at Plungė Church of St John Baptist and the leader of the Mass Choir. In 2001-2007, he was the lecturer at Klaipėda S. Šimkus Conservatoire’s Department of Choral Conducting; in 2008-2011, the leader of Klaipėda E. Balsys Arts’ Gymnasium’s String Orchestra. For a period of one year (2010) he executed the duties of the head of Kretinga District Cultural Centre.
In 2001-2011, he was the artistic leader of the Chamber Choir of Kretinga District Cultural Centre. Under his leadership, the ensemble was excellently awarded several times in Lithuania and abroad: the 2nd place at Lithuanian Contest of Mixed Choirs in Vilnius; the laureate of “The Golden Bird” in the nomination “A Brand New Shining Star”; Gold Diplomas in the categories of religious music and national music at the International Contest of Amateur Vocal Ensembles “In canto sul garda” (Italy).
In 2007, he was elected to conduct at Lithuanian Songs’ Festival in Vilnius. In 2009, he was the chief conductor at the Millennium Songs’ Festival “Amžių sutartinė”.
In 2008, he was awarded the Culture Prize of Kretinga District Municipality.
Since the 31st of January 2011, he is the leader of Šiauliai State Chamber Choir “Polifonija”.
