The Šiauliai State Chamber Choir Polifonija will soon embark on a tour to Turkey — an important presentation of Lithuanian choral music on the international stage. The tour is organized in cooperation with TENSO (the European Network for Professional Chamber Choirs), the Embassy of Lithuania in Turkey, and the State Choir of Turkey, with performances scheduled in both Istanbul and Ankara.
During the concert tour, the choir will perform two programs: the first one - on 2025 October 9th, at the Opera Hall of the Atatürk Cultural Center in Istanbul, where Polifonija will join the Istanbul National Orchestra in a performance of G. Fauré’s Requiem.
